My wife and I have participated in your Love Box ministry each month since inception. We have sponsored three to four other families each month as well as ordering a box for ourselves. We really enjoy the box and appreciate your heart to help us reduce our grocery cost, but our children and grandchildren have struggled with some of the items. My wife and I have taken out the asparagus, collard greens, turnip greens, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and other vegetables and storing them in our basement refrigerator because they were not cooking them. We suggest that you consider using macaroni and cheese, soups, canned vegetables, french fries, breakfast sandwiches and other type items that our adult children and grandchildren will eat. We will continue to participate and are able to shop at our local grocery store to supplement the previously mentioned items if we need to. I wanted to tell you personally what a blessing this ministry is to me and my family. With the rise of prices on groceries maintaining any type of budget has become almost impossible. My husband picked up our boxes that we ordered on Saturday. Everything was in phenomenal shape. All of the produce was fantastic! I foresee us doing this every month!
